Beautiful Machine Washable Rugs!? Yep!

A common topic that I get questions or comments about is regarding my light and bright decor AND my giant fur baby, Summer. “How do you keep everything clean looking with a dog!?” Well, I’m pretty stoked to share that I’ve added one more trick to my bag, thanks to Ruggable and their amazing waterproof, stain-resistant and machine-washable rugs. I was eager to receive the rug of my choice, Hudson Gray Stripe Rug in an 8x10, but I really wasn’t sure what the material would feel like. When the rug arrived, I was shocked at how soft the texture was! It looked like it might feel a little more like canvas in the photos I saw, but in reality, it feels like a durable, soft chenille. As I mentioned, the rug can be washed, but it comes in two layers. The top layer of fabric is completely machine washable and the bottom layer is a non-slip pad that attaches to the bottom side of the fabric like Velcro.
Live a little. A beautiful home isn’t really all that great if you can’t enjoy it with the ones you love. And if you know anything about me at all, you know my Great Dane/English Mastiff mix, Summer, is right near the top of that “ones I love” list.

Besides the ease of cleaning, there’s one other thing that I am definitely thrilled about! I am notorious for switching out my decor for each season and this definitely includes my rugs. However, I’m running out of storage space and hate to take up so much room with large rolled up rugs.
