Today I’m sharing my simple, yet elegant, Christmas dining room decor and tablescape!

Personally, I prefer a clean tabletop and rarely have more than a simple bowl or vase on my dining room table, but the holidays are an exception to this rule and I embrace a little more detail this time of year.

I recently ordered this gold β€œsilverware” and love that it adds a fancier feel than regular stainless steel silverware.

For the β€œcenterpiece”, I used this cute cane tray layered over a runner with inexpensive bottle brush trees on top. The trees are from Christmases past, but I modified them a bit with some good old fashioned spray paint. :) I am just growing tired of all of the sparkle that I’ve had in my Christmas decor over the past several years so I chose a dark brown paint to spray over the sparkly silver trees. I really like how they turned out!

These ornaments seemed a little tired, so I tied some satin ribbon around the loops for a little refresher and added elegance. I also used this same ribbon to hang my Christmas tree ornaments where possible.

The console table holds what I like to call my β€œbumpy vase” from HomeGoods that I also spray painted. It was black and now it’s this neutral taupe color. I found these branches in a ditch and promptly stuffed them in some water in a smaller vase and dropped it inside of the larger one. It just makes it easier to clean.

With Christmas rapidly approaching, I’m just enjoying this look for as long as I can! You can shop most of the items or similar products below:
