Water View Frame TV Art for Fall and Winter

Water View Frame TV Art for Fall and Winter

I know I’m stating the obvious when I say that I love coastal art. Luckily, it’s not all that hard to find some good beachy images to use on my 65” Frame TV. That is, until fall and the colder holiday months roll around. Of course, I could still use some modern beach art any time of the year, but my TV is the focal point in our living room and switching out the art can totally change the tone of our whole house.

So, I set out to find some art that would invoke the feeling of fall, while also having the usual “coastal” components, like water and/or a beach. In case you’re wondering what exactly “invokes the feeling of fall”, here is my opinion: Fall is moodier, darker, but warmer at the same time. I think I found the perfect image for my living room that has all of the above! I haven’t decided yet, but I may even continue to use it all the way through Christmas ;)

This is what it looked like before I switched the art and right after we had our wide shiplap and new gold sconces installed. The art is from one of my favorite artists, Alison Junda. She is so talented and just recently started offering some of her art formatted for a Frame TV! Check out her website and follow her on Instagram @a.junda_paintings for more gorgeous coastal scenes.

If you’ve been following along the past few months on Instagram, you’ve seen lots about Sasha, our “foster fail”. :) She is thought to be 13 years old by shelter staff and was dropped there after her own passed away in July. We brought her home in August and since then, all of her hair has grown back dark and shiny and she goes everywhere we can take her. We have since fostered one other dog and she was adopted a few days later! If you’d like to see more of our foster story and Sasha’s adventures, please follow along on Instagram @FosterFriendsofSummer

Our living room is rather simple, but because it’s a rather small space, I’d like to keep it that way. You won’t believe what it looked like when we bought this house and started the renovations! Click the link below for all those details.

Making Our Small 1970's Living Room Feel Bigger {Before & After}

These are my exact sconce lights and below are several other options I considered when trying to decide what style I wanted.

Water View Frame TV Art for Fall and Winter - House Full of Summer, coastal holiday decor, living room art, Samsung Frame TV art, coastal artist painter, Etsy shop, support small business, shop small, lake art, cottage art,

After perusing Etsy for a while, I gathered up a list of my favorite art for you! the best thing about Etsy is that you can find great pieces for under $5! If you’re unfamiliar with the Samsung Frame TV, it is a smart TV that has “Art Mode”. It’s a setting that allows you to choose from a stock image provided by Samsung (both free and paid options), or upload your own image. Art Mode also gives you the option to choose a mat style and to select the color. You can essentially add any photo you want to, but in order to get the best image quality and to use the “no mat” option, the art has to be a minimum size of 3840 x 2160 pixels (a ration of 16:9). The sensor on the TV can detect movement and, sort of like a screen saver, it will show art whenever someone walks by. The sensitivity of the motion sensor can be adjusted, as well.

Now, onto the art! This art can be purchased and then downloaded via Etsy. When I’m purchasing through the Etsy mobile app on my phone, I just wait a few minutes for the art to be made available via email and then I email the downloadable file images to myself and save the attachments to my iPhotos library. It’s fairly simple.

The first group of art all have a water view. They’re more muted, darker and still give the feeling that you’re on the water.

FALL WATER VIEW FRAME TV ART

It’s a little harder to find water scenes that have snow, so most of the art below can be used with almost any style of decor.

CHRISTMAS & WINTER FRAME TV ART

Christmas is rapidly approaching and I am just trying to relax a bit before I head home! Hopefully I’ll have some time to share a bit of my Christmas decor with you too, although I’ve kept it pretty simple this year. I’m pretty active on my Instagram stories and share lots of great finds and decorating ideas there! If you aren’t following along yet, please come over and say hi! @housefullofsummer
