Nov 30 Simple Kitchen Countertop Styling for Christmas

Sometimes I really overthink things. But who has time for that these days? The best way to add a little Christmas cheer to your kitchen is really simple, so let’s not make it any more complicated than it needs to be, right? :)

I popped into Target the other day and saw a few items in the dollar spot at the entry. This cute Ho Ho Ho ceramic tray was only $5! It almost looks like it’s wood and marble from a distance, but it’s a washable, smooth ceramic.

The greenery you see in the small bowl perfectly matches the white berry garlands I got there last year. One of them is hung above my kitchen sink and the other is draped over our Frame TV in the living room. Not everything has to be matchy, but it’s nice to have some consistency, especially when our kitchen and living room open up to each other.

I also got this bottle of cabernet and the marble holder it’s in. That is not a wine bottle chiller, but it might as well be. It’s a kitchen utensil holder, but I only keep my utensils tucked away in a drawer. My favorite place to keep most things is out of sight lol. I’m a clean counter lover.

The wooden board was gifted to me last year and it makes a good base for an organized vignette.

A few ways to switch up this scene would be to add more greenery, fresh or faux, like this little potted tree, or drape a matching tea towel over the wood board, add a candle or a cookie jar, or maybe even throw in some candy canes or nicely wrapped gourmet chocolates. Just don’t overthink it. ;)
