Why I Love My Comfort Works Dining Chair Covers

A couple weeks ago I posted my Touches of Fall Home Tour and included my dining room with new dining chair slipcovers from Comfort Works! Today, I’m posting a full review that will hopefully answer any questions you might have about them. :)
Comfort Works makes a variety of replacement dining chair covers and replacement sofa covers which are perfect for my IKEA lovers out there who are looking for a change! Perhaps in the future I’ll switch out my sofa covers, but for now, let’s focus on the dining chairs!
My dining chairs are the IKEA Henriksdal and I purchased them with white, pleated slipcovers. I have imagined changing out the slipcovers for a gray color in the past, so when Comfort Works sent me their fabric samples, I was really excited to see that they offered various shades of gray! Not only was I happy about the color options, but I was pleasantly surprised at how soft and durable the new Madison collection felt. I ended up choosing “Ash” from that collection and specified that I would like a straight box cover instead of pleats.
My helper tested out the fabric samples I received and we’ve concluded from a highly scientific experiment that the fabric I chose will be dog hair and drool friendly! ;)

I tend to notice any imperfections, and these covers are made with perfect seams and tailored very well to my chairs. They are not quite as tight as the IKEA Henriksdal covers, but it’s definitely a bit easier to get these on without breaking a nail tugging and pulling them over the chair! I like the slightly relaxed fit and the warm feel that the textured fabric gives, especially for this time of year! I know these are going to look perfect with my neutral, glam holiday decor too!
I created a beautiful and inexpensive centerpiece by using my light blue hand painted ginger jars, a half dozen white roses I picked up from Trader Joe’s for $3.99 and a few small branches from one of the magnolia trees in my backyard. Not bad for under $4, huh?
The covers arrived perfectly packaged in a neat little linen bag. I did take some time to drag out my ironing board and iron out the fold lines. It really was pretty easy to iron them out, though.
The covers feel soft and a little fuzzy to the touch. They are perfect for lingering around the table after a meal and I think these chairs are super comfortable to begin with!
