All in Christmas

How to Create an Elegant Coastal Christmas Scene

I decided to transform my bar cart into an elegant coastal Christmas scene for the holidays this year! My white cane bar cart sits in the corner of our dining room and it needed a little pizzazz. After seeing how the sunlight reflected off of all the glitter, I think it was the perfect place for it. My local Christmas Tree Shops andThat! store had a bunch of really cute coastal options for Christmas decorating.

Where to Find Studio McGee's Vintage Hanging Bells for a Fraction of the Price

It’s the look we all want, but some of us just can’t afford, or simply don’t want to pay for! Believe it or not, these bells do not belong to the Studio McGee brand in any way. The exact same ones appear to be sold in many other stores. I just happened to see them on their website, although they are not in stock just yet. You may have noticed by now that I have a bit of a knack for finding products that have been rebranded. Don’t let the brand name fool you. It’s often all the same stuff. ;)

Christmas Decor Theme Ideas {and How to Easily Change Yours!}

The topic today is how you can completely change the theme of your Christmas decor just by switching out your accents, as shown in the mood boards I’ve created below. It also includes how I would be decorating our new home for Christmas, in the off chance that we actually get moved in before Christmas day! I actually love all of these designs and would definitely try each of them out in the future!

Pencil Christmas Trees: The Best Brands and Best Sales Ending SOON!

the invention of pencil trees as Christmas decor is one of the best ideas ever. Especially if you’re a Christmas decorating nut like me and one of your goals in life is to have a Christmas tree in every room of your house! :D Since we’ll have less rooms in our new home, I’m that much closer to reaching my goal! Ahh the silver lining of downsizing! Haha! I’ll definitely be touching on the pros and cons of downsizing in a future post, but let’s just stay focused on all things pencil trees right now, because time is of the essence!

Cozy Christmas Nights by the Fireplace

This is something that doesn’t happen every day in Florida, even during the winter months! With lows in the 30’s, I thought I’d go ahead and document the rare opportunity we had to get cozy by the fireplace! Since Miss Summer didn’t quite get all of the spotlight she deserved in my recent posts, it is only fair that she takes center stage in this one. I hope you enjoy her expressions as much as I did! :D

A Charming Southern Christmas Home Tour {Part 1}

This year will be my fifth Christmas spent living in Florida and my oh my how my style has changed! Granted, the first year we lived in a rental home by the beach and I used my fairly ugly and cheap Christmas tree along with any and all colored ornaments I already owned. And it was still a lovely Christmas. The last few years my husband and I have been in our first home together and with each season I am able to collect a little more Christmas decor. This year I have 4 Christmas trees, several wreaths, a gazillion ornaments and gorgeous new outdoor decorations! My point is that no matter what stage you are in, your Christmas can still be lovely and magical.

Southern Glam Christmas Decor

That charm of the South has drawn me in and I’m fully embracing it in my Christmas decor this year with the help of The Jolly Christmas Shop! Being just an hour from the Georgia border in northeast Florida, we still feel very much a part of the South. The Jolly Christmas Shop is located in Loganville, Georgia, so if you’re lucky enough to be in the area, definitely go stop by and check them out! They have a total Christmas wonderland set up in their shop!

How to Decorate Your Porch for Christmas in a Warm Climate

I am beyond thrilled to be teaming up with Balsam Hill to bring you my fresh & festive front porch with Floridian flare (say that ten times fast) this holiday season! Although they’re known for their gorgeous, lifelike Christmas trees, garlands, wreaths, etc., I was still pleasantly surprised to find an absolutely perfect array of outdoor decor for our northeast Florida home! I know I’m not the only Floridian, Southerner or other warm climate dweller who has struggled with what in the world to put on the front porch during Christmastime! I mean, we’ve got palm trees and green grass and somehow those standard faux pine garlands just were NOT cutting it! Prior to this year, my front porch decor was pretty comical. Or sad, depending on my mood. ;) But now, I’m proud to show it off with the help of Balsam Hill’s gorgeous outdoor collection!

A Twilight Christmas Bar Cart {Hop}

Can you hear those sleigh bells jingling!? Oh wait, I think that’s just the sound stuck in my head from two straight weekends of Christmas music on Pandora playing throughout my home as I get it holiday-ready! :D You do know what pairs best with Christmas music, don’t you? Wine! So, I’ve got my bar cart stocked and I’m joining six lovely bloggers to bring you the Merry Little Bar Cart Hop! Don’t forget to stop by each of their blogs at the end of this post to check out their unique bar cart styling!

Classy Christmas Home Tour {Part Two}

With such a busy start to the holiday season, I thought it made more sense to break up my Christmas Home Tour into two parts! Previously, I showed you my Foyer, Dining Room and Living Room when I joined a group of talented bloggers for our Cheerful Christmas Home Tour! If you haven't seen in yet, you can check it out here! Today, I'll be showing you around a few more rooms, so come on in for Part Two!

Creating a Glam Coastal Christmas

One thing I absolutely love about the holiday season is changing up the entire ambiance of my home. If you've followed along on Instagram this year, you know I love my tropical, beachy vibes with fresh palms everywhere I can put them. And why not? After all, I live in Florida! But for Christmas, I'm all about abandoning the blue accents you'll find in the summer months and replacing them with all things bling! Silver and gold are my go-to accents and I love things that sparkle with the glow of the Christmas lights and candles!

How to Make Fresh Pine Swags

This is the first time I've ever channeled my inner "Martha Stewart" for Christmas, but in keeping with my 2017 New Year's resolution, I decided to add fresh greenery for Christmas too! Instead of palms or magnolias, I stepped out to the front yard and gave our twirly pine trees a little trim! I didn't hack off any large branches - I just snipped off the ends in about 5-8 inch lengths and stuffed them all in a bag to bring inside.

Classy Christmas Home Tour

Christmas has quickly become my favorite holiday to decorate for. which is why I'm super excited to be hosting this Cheerful Christmas Home Tour along side of some very talented bloggers, who will also be sharing their homes with you! There's something about sparkling lights casting a warm glow on everything that makes the house feel cozy and more inviting than ever! I can't wait to show you around!
