A Twilight Christmas Bar Cart {Hop}

Can you hear those sleigh bells jingling!? Oh wait, I think that’s just the sound stuck in my head from two straight weekends of Christmas music on Pandora playing throughout my home as I get it holiday-ready! :D You do know what pairs best with Christmas music, don’t you? Wine! So, I’ve got my bar cart stocked and I’m joining six lovely bloggers to bring you the Merry Little Bar Cart Hop! Now that our clocks are rolled back, if you’re hosting a get together at your home, guests are probably arriving just as the sun is setting. It’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy some twinkle lights and set the mood with some candles, too!
Isn’t there a quote somewhere that says the best inventions are made out of necessity? Well, I needed a cute bar cart sign and realized that the Christmas print I had in this mirrored frame from last year was thrown out. I decided to get creative and just write my own quote over the glass with a gold metallic marker! I love how it turned out. :) Just wash away and draw something new when you want a little change.
And this quote is totally referring to lighting the Christmas tree and candles, duh! ;)
As the sun disappeared, my lights grew brighter. This mirrored frame caught all of the reflections from the lights on my Christmas tree in the corner of the room! Can you tell what’s hiding in that furry stocking? It makes such a cute hostess gift or Christmas present! I found the stockings in Target’s dollar spot last year and I actually slipped a bottle of my favorite seasonal Michigan wine into it. Winter White and Winter White Peach from Leelenau Cellars are two of my faves! They also ship to Florida now!
Just add a gift tag and bow to the stocking and you’re all set! I know I wouldn’t mind getting some wine in my stocking this Christmas. Ha!
Battery operated string lights, aka fairy lights or twinkle lights, are one of the easiest ways to add a little bit of Christmas “magic” to any space.
There are two fast-growing evergreen trees outside of my porch that desperately need a trim! So, I snipped a few inches of overgrowth and put it in a vase for a little accent. It’s the absolute easiest way to look like you’re some sort of Martha Stewart! In my opinion, fresh greenery always livens up a space and makes it feel polished.
My new King of Christmas tree is poking out of the corner and just begging to be photographed! I’ll have all of the details on my Christmas decor on the blog soon!
