Cinco de Mayo Outfits & Accessories
If you're like me, you can get on board with almost any reason to celebrate (and for this instance, Mexico's victory over the French in the Battle of Puebla over 150 years ago, aka Cinco de Mayo) - especially if it involves tassels, tequila and terrific weather! ;) Take a look at these fun outfits and accessories that would be perfect for any Cinco de Mayo celebration!
You really don't have to spend a lot. I picked up this light and flowy off the shoulder dress lined in neon tassels as a bathing suit cover up, but I tried it on after purchasing it and I think it will definitely work as a dress, too! I love the neon tassels! It was around $20 and you can certainly wear this dress all summer long.
Stacked tassel earrings just happen to be all the rage right now, so I found some very affordable options online. Believe it or not, I've seen these suckers for WAY more on fashion sites and I'll let you in on a little secret - most of the products are all pretty much the same. They are just sold in wholesale, arranged slightly differently as a finished product and then branded with a much higher price tag! There are a range here to choose from.
Whether you're looking for a beach bag or small purse, there is something for you! While clutches are really cute and stylish, I'm the forgetful type that will end up running back to grab the "clutch" I inevitably left on a table or bar stool somewhere! So, a better idea for me is to buy wristlets! This way, I can just attach the loop to by wrist and forget about it. Also, it frees up both of your hands, which is especially handy if you're going to be hopping on and off boats. ;)
There are so many cute sandals out there, but I'm kind of an "old lady" when it comes to my feet! If they don't have supportive soles, I'm not wearing them! At least not walking around cobblestone and brick streets all day! (Hello, St. Augustine!) Can I get an amen? However, sometimes I do make an exception. If I'm just going to be walking a few minutes from place to place and sitting in between, then I'll sacrifice my Aerosoles for some super cute flat gladiators like the ones I've linked up below!
How cute are these sun hats with tassels!? After a day at the beach, I definitely am on board with hiding my crazy hair with a hat! :D
