Classic Ginger Jars in Modern Colors

This post is in partnership with Lo Home. As always, all opinions are my own. Thank you for supporting brands that support House Full of Summer!

This really could not have worked out more perfectly! I looked in so many places for some ginger jars that would "match" my decor and was just about ready to give up on my search when Lauren Haskell reached out to let me know she had just added a brand new line of soft and colorful ginger jars to her store, Lo Home! While I absolutely adore the look of blue and white traditional chinoiserie ginger jars, that pattern and color just doesn't fit into the soft palette in our main living spaces - but, soft gray-blue? Now we're talkin'!

I chose this set of Hydrangea Light Blue Hand Painted Ginger Jars in each of the three sizes they are offered. I am SO happy with how the color looks in person!

There are ten other colors to choose from, as shown below. If you've been following along for any length of time, I'm sure there's no surprise that I chose the light blue option, right?

My ginger jars' first new home (because of course I'll be moving them around to enjoy them in other spaces too ;)) is on my mantel! I had the same styling on my mantel all throughout the summer months, so this is my summer to fall transitional look!

I trimmed some fronds from my yard and used one of the jars as a vase.

In addition to the fronds, a few stems of faux flowers were brought into the mix.  For other tips on adding greenery to your decor, check out the post below.

Simple and fresh is exactly what this space needed.

I think my new little collection of ginger jars is positively perfect! But, as I'm sure many of you often do, I took a step back and remembered that I had planned to change this fireplace tile a looooong time ago, but it got pushed to the back burner! What do you think - paint it or re-tile it? There's always something to be done! (And I think I'd be bored silly if that weren't the case.) :D  Let me know your suggestion in the comments below!

Sending Sunshine,
