As a transplant living in Florida, I don’t have the need for real winter boots…until I go back “home” for the holidays! Even though I typically only see snow once a year, depending on if we head back to Michigan or Kansas, it is still miserable to be unprepared and end up with wet and freezing feet! Regular boots just don’t cut it!
Even most of us who love all things summer and beachy tend to get excited for wearing boots in the fall! But, if you live in a warm climate, socks and boots are not very comfortable or practical when it’s still 90 degrees. So, here are some great options for dressing your feet for fall if it’s still hot where you live!
I am SO ready for spring and I bet you are too! Granted, spring comes a lot earlier in Florida than for most of the country, but it’s all relative. ;) Today, I’m switching gears to fashion with the cutest espadrille round up that will definitely give you spring fever! I’ve been trying to be “good” and get my closet to a place that would make Marie Kondo proud (also see the link below) before I began shopping for anything, but I am really in need of some cute and comfortable shoes that are work appropriate!

I'm so thrilled to be joining these sweet and talented bloggers for the Loveliest Looks of Fall Tour! It's September in Florida, which means we are still having 90 degree days! That's one reason I like to keep my decor feeling light and airy while starting to add in some cozy touches. It's my way of transitioning our home from summer to fall.
When you think of summertime, what comes to mind? For me, summer is a time to kick back and relax, visit with family and friends and take part in some good, old-fashioned R&R! We are about to head off to one of our favorite beach bars for dinner and drinks, but first, let me give you a little tour! Oh, and I hope you have a refreshing beverage for the tour...some crisp Riesling is doing the trick for me. ;)
Living in the Sunshine State with a "sunshine state of mind", I know how important (and sometimes difficult) it is to enjoy the outdoors without looking like a fried, drenched rat after an hour of intense sun and humidity.
